How to install FlexCPD in Flash Builder 4.5
FlexCPD is a Copy and Paste Detector and comes as part of the FlexPMD Project
The setup is the same for FDT and Flash Builder.
Installation
Prerequisites:
This post assumes that you already have FlexPMD Installed.
If you haven’t, follow the instructions here:
How to install FlexPMD in Flex Builder 4.5
- Go to Preferences>FlexPMD:
- navigate to your unzipped FlexPMD folder.
Select: flex-pmd-cpd-command-line-1.1.jar
How to use FlexCPD
- Right click on your project in the Package Explorer
Select FlexPMD> Find Suspect copy and paste:
- You can see the results in the FlexCPD view:
